# AI Student Insights

**AI Student Insights** (sidebar, marked *Beta*) is an AI Learning Coach with full context on each student's history. Pick a student, then ask freeform questions.

## What you can ask

* 📊 **Vocabulary and grammar statistics** — *"How many B2 words has Maria used this month?"*
* 🎯 **Learning goals and progress** — *"Is Pedro hitting his fluency goal?"*
* 📚 **Recent lessons and practice** — *"What did we cover last lesson?"*
* 💡 **Weak areas that need attention** — *"What grammar errors keep repeating?"*
* 🔍 **Specific words or grammar structures** — *"Has Anna used the past perfect?"*

## Quick actions

The four buttons at the bottom of the chat launch common questions in one click:

| **My Progress**      | Overall trajectory across recent lessons.          |
| **Vocabulary Stats** | CEFR distribution and growth.                      |
| **Suggest Goals**    | Recommended next learning goals based on patterns. |

## Past conversations

Past conversations are saved per student in the right panel — revisit them before the next lesson to refresh your memory.

  A good Friday habit: open AI Student Insights for each student you saw that week and ask *"What should we work on next lesson?"*. Paste the answer into [Messages](/knowledge-base/teacher-guide/messaging) as a heads-up.
